Wear Parts For Sugar Mill

Sugar industries is one of the world’s leading agro-industries. The maintenance of a sugar plant can be divided into two parts : one relates to marginal and urgent maintenance during crushing season and the other consists of major overhauling of plant and machinery in the off season.

DM Caneblock

DM Caneblock is an extremely strong abrasion resistant composite consisting of high hardness and toughness complex carbides in a metallic matrix. This is a metallurgical bonded to a mild steel backing plate. Sand ( silica) and other abrasive material harbested with sugar cane can cause serverve wearon shredder / fibrizor hammers. Replacing these parts with DM Caneblocks can substantially reduce wear and increase productivity.

Repeated welding leads to huge stresses and heat affected zone. DM Caneblock is the most cost effective sugar mill shredder tip available which is fitted to the hammer shanks with a single bolt. These tips can easily be replaced and all four sides can be used giving a longer life to the hammer body and reduce power consumption. This is the industry most cost effective and time saving method compared to any hardfacing welding.

 

 

 

DM Caneknife

DM Caneknife is the most cost effective sugar mill knife chopper cutter, leveller & mincer attachments are available in various sizes with Double “V” edge and flat edge welded onto the knife body shanks with special grade welding consumable, adding extra strength.  This is the most cost effective and time saving method of knife body protection than hardfacing.

Our strict quality control ensures all tips are of the same size & weight. This facilitate easy dynamic balancing and tip clearance setting.

 

 

DM Caneblade

DM Caneblade is the most cost effective sugar harvester, base cutter blade attachments are available in various sizes with single edge and flat edge, duly bolted to body shanks of base cutter. These extra strong, high tensile, hardened and tempered steelduly case carburized in a special vaccumm furnance are used for heavy cutting edges. This is the most cost effective and time saving method compared to the older conventional cutters.

Our strict quality control ensures that all baldes are of the same size and weight. This facilitates easy dynamic balancing and tip clearance setting.

 

 

DM “Teardrop” hardfacing technology on sugar mill crush roller

DURA-Metal have a team of specialist readily available to execute “Teardrop” hardfacing technology on sugar mill crush roll at customer site. It is a state of the arc technology specially designed to extend life of sugar mill crush roll, enhance cane grabbing capacity, good gripping between roller and the cane, more juice extraction and thus less power consumption.  Thus reduce cost and increase productivity.
